2026–2027 School Year
At Richman Elementary School, we believe physical education is an essential part of every child's education. Our standards-based PE program promotes lifelong fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, healthy decision-making, and physical well-being while supporting students' social-emotional development.
Physical Education instruction is provided by our award winning PE teacher and North Orange County Teacher Induction Coach, Honda SoCal Teacher of the Year 2026 - Coach Mike Shaffer, in partnership with classroom teachers. Classroom teachers accompany their classes to PE and support student participation and engagement.
